Hello there! I’m Lola and I was born in the States. Since everyone I usually tell is interested to know where in the States, I was born specifically in Virginia, but I’ve also lived in Kentucky, California, and North Carolina. I’ve graduated from an MA programme and am now sticking around London. I’m the first in my family to attend any form of university, and I’m quite proud of that.

I’ve loved computers and technology since I was very small and I currently work as a content marketing manager for Wazoku, a media engagement manager for Find Invest Grow, and marketing consultant for Pink Therapy. I’ve previously worked as a Web Director and Art Director. I hope that whatever I eventually end up doing for very long periods of time has something to do with content creation or any form of technology (That is, unless I sell my novel and can just spend all day writing!). I’m on more social media than I link here, but some of them are restricted to friends and personal contacts only!

While I’m not working, I volunteer for Gendered Intelligence and Terrence Higgins Trust. I also blog about political and social issues on an anonymous blog.  I’ve won NaNoWriMo twice, finished my second novel last year, and am working two other novels and hopefully an entry into a BBC comedy award in February. I also enjoy reading REAL, live books (they squirm!), audiobooks, books on my Kindle, as well as listening to music.
